DKP

Everyone who joins us in the raid environment will receive DKP.  DKP stands for Dragon Kill Point, a term that came from Everquest and has stuck with MMORPGs ever since.  Rolling is arbitrary and flawed in every manner of the raid environment, and we try and stay away from this system as it has been a proven creator of hostility amongst people in guild.  More importantly, with progression should come great reward.  The  player who shows up on time, ready to go, participates in pushing us forward should be rewarded over the player who shows late, is absent every other week, and puts the guild into a hard place.  DKP will be updated before every raid, and check the weekly guild update, there may be a donation for DKP for items the bank needs…

+7 per raid boss downed in a guild raid
+3 for showing up 15 minutes before raid time
+1 for bringing your own flasks
+7 for the raid MVP, DPS, Healer, Tank, best Idea, great save, (officers and council will pick)

-3 for showing up late with no prior notice
-5 for not showing up after signing up for an event
